Thanks DSP...he's so popular in France but I do feel sorry for him sometimes. After a long flight he probably just wants to get to his hotel but he's always smiling and so polite to people! I imagine he breathed a huge sigh of relief when he eventually got in his cab. Bless him!

It's wonderful to see him again but to me he looks too scruffy - kind of like of back woods mountain man. I like his look a little bit more cleaned up and polished.

I would absolutely hate to have all of that attention every time I went out in public! It was irritating just to watch for a minute and a half .....

Gleaned from other articles (this hit every major trade publication), "Sally Caplan, Head of Production at Screen Australia, says there has been a huge market response to Baker and says they're thrilled to be involved in the making of Breath.

"It is especially gratifying that he is choosing to come back home to make this symbolic Australian story," Caplan said on Wednesday.

Breath will be screened first at Cannes.

Never seems to let anything rattle him and always sweet with people. I love his look right now but wonder whether he might clip his beard a bit when in Cannes. We shall see.

Thanks for the info Peithon. So I know when I will get my first holidays next year biggrin

I am already mad at myself for not going to Cannes. I wanted to book a flight but decided against it because we had so little information. sad

Peithon, Can you tell me the source for your last sentence about the movie being screened in Cannes first?

It seems we are going to be getting a lot of great new footage of Simon Baker. I'm glad to see that he's so popular.
