I loved the season premiere of The Mentalist — things are pretty nice between Jane and Lisbon. But I can’t help but notice that Jane’s still wearing his wedding ring. Will that be an issue in future episodes? –Charlie
Funny you should mention wedding rings, Charlie, seeing as for the series finale, airing Feb. 18 and titled “White Orchids,” the CBS drama is guest-casting the role of a jeweler who’s pulling a fast one on a young couple when Jane intervenes. One has to wonder if Jane might then pursue other business with the merchant….

I think it's such a shame these promo pics were released now. I'd have thought that as it's the Series Finale they would have kept something back to tease us. They are difficult to avoid (unless you live on another planet)! It's like reading the last page of a great book before the start! Leaves nothing to suspense and the imagination!

I too am annoyed that CBS is letting out such big spoilers. No surprises anymore. It would have been nice not to know if it really ends with a wedding. They already did it with episode 10. How much better it would have been not to know. Proves again that CBS doesn't care a bit about the best show they've ever had. |

I would rather not have known what was coming up in the finale. Truthfully, I'm not sure that I like what we're going to see. On the surface and without having seen the episode, to end it this way seems like such a cliche. I really, really hope that they do it well or it could ruin my enjoyment of the whole series. |
