The Mentalist 3.15 Red Gold is written by Cindi Grossenbacher, Script Co-ordinator for The Mentalist - this is the first episode she's written (I'm presuming Cindi is female).
Let's hope she's as good a writer as the other new member of the team, Daniel Cerone who penned the following episode 3.16 Red Queen, and also wrote 3.4 Red Carpet Treatment and 3.10 Jolly Red Elf.

There's not much new stuff around at the moment, but I've updated the 'Interviews & Articles' section with a couple of articles from December 2008 that some people may not have seen. I particularly like Bruno Heller's description of Patrick Jane "Imagine if Sherlock Holmes and Angelina Jolie had a baby."

‘General Hospital’ actor Graham Shiels appears on ‘The Mentalist’ tonight
"The Mentalist’ was a blast to shoot with Simon Baker. He's a real comedian and has a flare for improv. So much so that I broke many times when shooting with him--as did the crew. I guess the show has run a while now so he's very loose and confident and likes to mix it up with the crew--otherwise it makes for long days and weeks shooting when you're on a show for years and years. But he makes it fun and I'm sure the production staff appreciates it as well as do his fellow actors. He's no doubt a star in the grandest sense of the word. A really genuine, nice guy. The supporting cast, Robin Tunney, Tim Kang, and Owain Yeoman, were all very gracious and welcoming, too.

    Excerpt:
If you are looking for a role model then perhaps Patrick Jane from "The Mentalist" would be a good guy to emulate. Jane is known for his wit and reasoning as well as his tea drinking and dapper dressing. To get into the swing of being Patrick Jane here is a list of the five things you will need to do to become your own version of "The Mentalist".
