Thanks Kathy, that's true, if I view the photo as a role rather than as Simon himself it does have some appeal. |

Some of them capture pretty well what iswe love about "our Simon": the way he always plays with his hands and his wedding ring, how much love there is in his eyes when he looks at his family...  |

Thanks Fran, such lovely photos especially those with his family. Knowing Simon to be a shy, modest man I think perhaps it was somewhat of an ordeal for him. Hence the twiddling his wedding ring, fiddling with his watch etc. Standing by listening to all those wonderful comments must have affected him. My heart was in my mouth several times when he teetered towards the edge of the dais but having watched the video several times I think it was so that his family could have a clear view of him as that tree may have blocked their view! Wonderful comments, heartfelt speech, beautiful family, dear sweet man. |

Yes bee, this was also my impression. He needed to keep eye contact with his family. Like Keith Urban had texted: "They give him love and strength, his faithful family."
