Farewell Mr. Jane: "The Mentalist" ends its seven-season run tonight with a finale featuring the marriage of Simon Baker’s fake-psychic-turned-amateur-Sherlock Patrick Jane to his cop colleague Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney). The series kind of ended for me last season when Jane killed his nemesis Red John (Xander Berkeley). But I’ll watch tonight to cheer Baker, an aces Aussie actor I’ve admired since his 1997 debut in "L.A. Confidential.” He brought class and wicked mischief to "The Mentalist" that raised the bar on police procedurals.
Peter Travers IG (Film Critic, Rolling Stone Magazine, he did interview with Simon when he sang lullaby for Stella)

It looks like the pciture was taken at Simon's home, because the statue next to him seems to be this one. |

Ruuger, I also remember the photo of Simon with that statue and it also looks like his favourite hat is on the peg behind him and his flip flops by the door! I wonder whose baby that is? |

I hope we learn who the baby is ...maybe from one of the TM crew? Since Robin was there ..or a friend's baby? Somebody on instagram asked Robin, I hope she answers!

Extremely sweet photo. Both baby and Simon very cute and would love to know whose baby it is. Love the glimpse of his home it looks very tasteful but ,of course , as Simons home it wouldn't be anything else but tasteful. |
