From the Mary River Roadhouse, October 31 : "Well they are filming a movie in Arnhem Land and Kakadu. It has some Aussie super stars in it including David Fields, Guy Pearse , Simon Baker and Jack Thompsom. Anyhow we got a visit today from some of the film crew, Simon Baker and Jack Field at the Roadhouse today . They were really nice people and very down to earth; just visiting us for a coldie and to suck up some airconditioning. It was a pleasure meeting you all"

[The 24th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) 2018 beginning November 10 will showcase 171 feature films and 150 shorts and docus from 70 countries, organisers said Saturday.
'Antony Firingee', the 1967 Bengali classic, will be the inaugural movie of the eight-day extravaganza that has Australia as the 'focus country'.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will inaugurate the festival and celebrated Iranian director Majid Majidi and Australian filmmakers Philip Noyce, Jill Bilcock and Simon Baker will be the guests of honour.

Australia would be the focus country of the 24th Kolkata International Film Festival, slated to be inaugurated by Bollywood’s living legend Amitabh Bachchan in the presence of a galaxy of superstars of Indian cinema including Shah Rukh Khan here on November 10, the organisers announced on Saturday.
Besides Bachchan, venerable Iranian director Majid Majidi, and Australian directors Simon Baker, Jill Bilcock and Philip Noyce would grace the opening ceremony, to be presided over by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the Netaji Indoor Stadium. |

It's great that Simon and Breath are getting so much attention! He is looking very fit, but I am in the tone down that beard camp! He's been pretty "wooly" before but this is new level.  |
