"Jane and Lisbon are hot on the trail of Red John in the season premiere, but a disagreement on how to handle the situation may leave one of them in danger before the episode is over," creator Bruno Heller told us about the episode.

 

Josie Davis will guest-star in the season premiere of The Mentalist and will play Sonya, a waitress

in a truck stop Jane (Simon Baker) and Lisbon (Robin Tunney) visit while investigating the seven possible Red John suspects. Davis, best known for her role on the '90s sitcom Charles in Charge, most recently starred in the Lifetime movie Dirty Teacher.
