'I Give It a Year' gets U.S. distribution deal
American audiences hungry for more British comedy and more of Bridesmaids actress Rose Byrne, are in for a treat: I Give It a Year, which stars Byrne and Rafe Spall (One Day), has secured a U.S. distributor. Magnolia Pictures will release the film in the U.S. later this year. U.S. release date is yet to be set.
The Wagner/Cuban Company's Magnolia Pictures announced today that they've acquired US rights to I Give It a Year. Magnolia plans for a theatrical and VOD release in their Ultra VOD program later this year.
"Dan Mazer is a terrific writer who has managed to both skewer and celebrate the romantic comedy genre and also deliver a gut-bustingly funny picture" said Magnolia President Eamonn Bowles.
