I like the 4th season, the way we've made it a bit more morally ambiguous. There's things that have happened during the early part of the season that will come back and bite him in the arse, we have to figure out how he's going to get himself out of that situation, all the while balancing the idea of how sane he is.

Lisbon does become Jane's confidante but she's also the one that holds the mirror up to him and says you're starting to lose your mind. I'm not sure we're going to go there completely, we've still got 8 episodes to shoot for the year.

It could happen that Red John will target Lisbon, it seems to make sense. I don't know if it will happen, it still might have a couple of years to go before then, but that's pretty climactic.
