I googled Salt Creek beach as I had never heard of it and it is indeed a very good surfing beach. There are loads of surfing videos taken from there. I love the fact that Simon surfs and he must be so good too. It really is a lifelong passion with him and after having watched surfers at close range I can understand how it can be so addictive. Always chasing that perfect wave. Wonderful. It must keep him so fit and healthy all that fresh sea air and exercise. (fingers crossed now I've said that!!). I think they actually look different shorts as these ones have a pattern and the other blue ones have stripes. I wonder if he will wear these all the time now? ! Love his hats too, very stylish. |

Thanks for all the pics. The shorts on the beach are different to the one he wore in France and Spain. I know that so well because I had a hard time knitting the striped ones for the holiday outfit of my doll 
I'm happy he has time to go surfing even while filming TM, but everybody needs a break, and thankfully he has Sunday off.
I so hope he gets the chance to make Breath and that he will be Sando, because I'd love to see him surfing in a movie. We only had these short clips in Smith, not enough for me. |

Ivana thanks for identifying the Cheryl Starbuck photo, as you say posted in September 2013 but according to my records Cheryl said it was onset 'Red Dawn' which would make it about a year earlier.
Re the recent beach photo - Simon's shorts are the ones he was wearing at Bondi Beach in June this year. |
