Also reminds me the scene in "I give it a Year" with the doves! tongue

Those pidgeons are unpredictable, RJ learned it the hard way!

Yeah, was it coincidence that RJ was scared of pigeons? I think not.

yes, maybe it is an "older" piece they already used before for another episode/scene and therefore Blake didn´t put it in this collection?

About the last interview at http://entertainment.inquirer.net/155649....ppines:

It is very interesting. I like the way Simon teased the Warner Bros people who were in the room! happy

So, seems that it's more WB that forces people to stay silent about the Season 7, rather than CBS.

Also nice to read his view of the three stories inside TM.

“The original story that we started off with and laid out in the pilot episode many years ago—that story finished probably around the end of the [third] season.” […] “Then we picked up another thread of the story. It became less about seeking revenge and more about the dynamics of a relationship (between Patrick and Teresa). That thread closed itself—pretty perfectly, I thought—at the end of last season” […] “We’re probably into what, you would argue, is maybe the third [part] of the story arc. It’s no longer about Red John. It’s no longer about this unrequited love. It’s now the next step.”

As we have no hint about what will happen in this season (apart through the come back pf some guest actors), I think Simon gave us a small clue:
How are we going to approach the relationship? Obviously, we need to uphold the procedural nature of the show. But how do we do it with a dynamic that isn’t necessarily smooth-sailing? There’s obviously going to be hiccups between them, when they’ve worked together and spent so much together and then try to carry on a relationship. There’s professional jealousy and all of those things. Who’s the alpha in the relationship? Who’s the boss at work? And at home? We’re trying to play around with that as much as possible.

Even if Simon would have wanted a tragic fate for his character, I think he likes a bit of challenge, so will offer us a great performance (as well as Robin)!

I am glad that they have gone away from PJ being such a tragic character. I think Simon does an excellent job giving us all of the facets of PJ. But my favorite moments are seeing him smile and laugh and have a bit of a joke. I am so curious about these episodes, even more after Simon's comments in the latest article. I also wonder if the studios silence about this season being the last is just more theater to generate buzz and keep us all talking about it.

It's really strange, the secrecy ..

Can a studio ask a network to not announce it when it's the final season and they made up their mind not to go on with a show?

Why did Tim Kang say it's the final season if it's not sure?

Simon doesn't say whether it is or not is the final one, doesn't that mean he would go on? Other actors said it clear when their contract ran out they don't want to go on, Simon doesn't.

Why not say it it's the final season? Does WB maybe have plans to possibly move to another network in case CBS doesn't want to go on?

It's strange, since other shows say when they already know it's ending that it's the final season, and I think it is better for the fans to know, to prepare for the ending. So if it's decided it should be told to the fans. Seems more fair to me than keep them hoping even though there is no hope.

Just some questions and thoughts I have at the moment ...

Could be that, a well know strategy, yes.

Fran, yes those tweets were a great find!

But what for the strategy? Wouldn't people turn in more knowing it was the last season ...to see how it all ends?

What does it bring if they don't say it's the final one? Other shows do say it once it's decided. I just don't understand it sad
It's torture for the fans ..and it's cruel if they already know it's the final season.
