s I noticed that Simon was reading is notes sans spectacles. Contacts??
Speaking as someone nearsighted who has also developed the need for bifocals as I have aged, my guess is that he can read sufficiently well at that distance without his glasses. I can.

Simon is at the age where he has what is called 'adult' vision, i.e. he'll need lineless trifocals or he'll have to use two pairs of glasses, one for close up work and one for distance. He is very nearsighted, but as you get older you start to go farsighted, hence 'adult vision.'
I have got my new YouTube channel working and am gradually uploading more videos.... Its a mix of older ones and some new angles. I do these as i enjoy making then and if anyone else enjoys watching as well - that is an added bonus...
[VIDEO NO LONGER AVAILABLE] TF1 (French) 50 mn inside - "Traqueurs de stars" - I haven't watched it all but I think its just the first 2 minutes or so that's about Simon's star on Walk of Fame:
This is a report on the "autograph hunters" who make it their business and so earn money. But we see two true fans of Simon who came to see him on the "Walk of Fame" for the inauguration of his star. "50 minutes inside" is a show about celebrities on the TV channel TF1 on which is broadcast "the mentalist". We can see Simon at the beginning and at the end. It's a very nice coverage. Sorry for the ones who can't see it because the link doesn't work in their country ! I hadn't seen a report on Simon's star on Walk of Fame, this is the first time that they were talking about on french TV.
Fran, I watched from the link and the whole thing is only about 11 mins long....Simon is at the start and then they return to him about 1 - 2 mins from the end...following up on the two girls who were at the Walk of Fame. It's cute....they get their wish!!
