Of course, Simon must be sad about not seeing the crew and cast anymore, that's for sure.
What I meant is that he seems also happy to 'have a break" as he says, I'm sure there's a part of him that feels relieved. Six seasons on a series is very hard work, had cost him a lot of energy, and somehow prevents him from working on other projects he surely long for. |

Yes it must be exhausting. But he also likes to work. As Deedee said, I think so too that he is a positive person and he
makes the best out of it. I really hope with all my heart, if it's over, he finds something
really great to do. When Ellen said she writes something for him...it seems to me
he was sad about the situation....not knowing what's coming. That's the fate of an actor I guess. But as a
father with children still in school it must be even more difficult. It sure was
good for the family to have one location all these past years. I just hope he will not disappear for too long
after TM. |

I think we sometimes forget that an actor's job can be very uncertain at times, and without that financial stability that perhaps a show like The Mentalist can give, it can be worrying especially not knowing if there is to be a another Season and CBS must know how difficult this is for everyone involved on the show. We also don't know if Simon has any projects lined up during his break . However, I'm sure when the time comes, (hopefully we may still get another season) Simon will have no difficulty in moving on in his career. |

They played "Read my mind" by the Killers again when he came in
Love that song and downloaded it after it was used the first time on Ellen when Simon was announced. Will always remind me on him and Patrick Jane and these wonderful appearances at Ellen!
Good to know nothing is missing in the clips on Ellen tv! Already saved them. |
