Not very Simon related but I wonder if he left Givenchy or not:

Thank you Tanja. Reading this it appears that his collaboration with Givenchy may have come to an end! Sad! They seem to want to attract a younger audience! I must admit I've never heard of this guy!

Maybe Gentlemen Only stays too with Simon. But with his total absense over the last years he might not be very attractive for commecial anymore ...commercials want people who are well known and in everybody's mind. With TM Simon was that, but now not anymore. No new movies, except Breath, and who knows when this will be published ...and yes, I am frustrated that Simon has disappeared almost completely. He has given up his huge fame with TM with this hiding out. I don't know if Breath will be a big success ...I really wish it for him, but one has to do at least a little bit of something for his/ her fans, or he/ she is forgotten soon...

I'm sure Simon's fans haven't forgotten him. I read a survey once about how surprisingly long pepople remember an actor once they become famous. I'm guessing that Simon is fulfilling his goal of reconnecting with his family. I do miss him, though, and I hope he comes back soon.

Perhaps Simon thought it was time to go. It's just my opinion but I felt he was a little bit 'ill at ease' with the last Givenchy ad. I know I'll never forget him, but oh I wish he'd make contact with earth sometime soon.

Didn't he say that the girls/ladies in the lift ad were around the same age as his daughter? Perhaps he felt uncomfortable with that! As long as he is happy and healthy and enjoying life with his family that's OK with me. I'm just looking forward to Breath and I'm sure he has other projects in the pipeline for us to enjoy!

I think he felt a tad uncomfortable too didn't he joke about being the "old bloke in the corner" at that interview! Quite agree Bee as long as he is healthy and happy it's all that really matters but would be great if we could have at least a glimpse of him soon.
