[This is 6.14 Grey Water. So as Evy has indicated elsewhere it looks like there will be an 8 week hiatus (7 Sundays without a new episode) after 6.12 Golden Hammer this Sunday, with 6.13 Black Helicopters airing on 9th March] |

I'm really sad too. I saw Owain in Monte Carlo, such a wonderful man. I'm happy with the new TM, but I feel sorry for Owain and Amanda that they have to leave. But I don't like the "last ever" ...couldn't they at least have a guest part some time in another episode? |

"My first day of my last ever Mentalist episode". It's so sad to read that from Owain, he confirms what everybody know. I'm going to miss Van Pelt and Rigsby. Good luck for both of them. |

It's not usual that the actors decide to leave a show on their own, unless they have any kind of problem or want to make something new. It's not the case. I'm sure it was a decision made by CBS or the show's producers. I guess when they started to think about the new Mentalist, they realized that Rigsby and Van Pelt didn't have place on it. I'm going to miss them a lot but I understand that Cho is a more solid character and he fits working in the FBI, so the choice was clear. |

It would have been unrealistic if the FBI had hired all 5...sorry that they had to leave, but with the new TM...I guess it was
the writers decision. Sad but if that gives a better chance for S 7 I'm okay with it. |

Me too Tina. But I hope the writers will not make them die (cf. latest images from the episode The Golden Hammer) It would be a sad end and too cruel. these two actors deserve a nice and proud exit. |
