The Mentalist Books Grey's Anatomy Alum for Season Premiere

Onetime Grey’s Anatomy nurse Lauren Stamile will guest star in the Season 6 premiere of CBS’ The Mentalist, TVLine has learned exclusively.
The actress will plays Madison Yardley, the wife of a murder victim whose body is discovered two years after he was reported missing.
In addition to Grey’s, Stamile’s TV credits include recurring gigs on Community and Burn Notice.
The Mentalist Season 6 bows Sept. 29. |

Plotline synopsis Season Premiere with casting info from Heller:
"Jane and Lisbon are hot on the trail of Red John in the season premiere, but a disagreement on how to handle the situation may leave one of them in danger before the episode is over," creator Bruno Heller told us about the episode.
Josie Davis will guest-star in the season premiere of The Mentalist and will play Sonya, a waitress in a truck stop Jane (Simon Baker) and Lisbon (Robin Tunney) visit while investigating the seven possible Red John suspects. Davis, best known for her role on the '90s sitcom Charles in Charge, most recently starred in the Lifetime movie Dirty Teacher.

Rockmond Dunbar (The Game) is set for a recurring three-episode arc on CBS’ veteran drama The Mentalist, with potential to become a series regular. He will appear in episodes 7, 8 and 9, playing FBI Supervisory Agent Dennis Abbott who is a tough, no-nonsense cop who doesn’t suffer fools and isn’t overly impressed by Patrick Jane’s skills or charm.
