The print that was used in the book/movie was entitled 'The Great Red Dragon' and was from the same series of paintings but shows the Beast from a rear perspective. The murderer in the movie (Francis Dolarhyde) had it tattooed all over his back. I expect we'll see this image in Simon's episode of the same name. I love that Bruno has added some culture to the show - he is single-handedly managing to educate people too!! Whatta guy!!! |

If it weren't for educated fans, most of this would be going over my head. I have a background in science, and know very little about culture, it seems. Thanks for being so knowledgable, guys. |

So true, Wand6122360! Thank you all for these insights and thoughts, although they make my head a little I admit. But, we will soon find out step by step how in Bruno Heller's head all this is well set and planned. Ep No. 2 tomorrow! Can't wait!!!! |

Haven't seen the 2d episode yet, but don't you think that Van Pelt disobeing Lisbon and telling Rigsby about the list is totally unprofessional and totally reckless? |

I agree with both of you that it WAS unprofessional, but I guess it was the only way that they could get the whole team in on the act. |

It's not the first time Grace is acting unprofessional. That's why I didn't understand why Lisbon told her. Guess because she's the computer specialist. But I would have never trusted her with such secret... Cho would be the most trustful one for me. |

Frankly, they could have found another trick for the rest of the team, aka Rigsby and Cho, to found out about the list. That's the weak point of the episode, IMO. Rigsby thinking she was cheating on him? Really? |

Loved it. The start when jane says 'im nit freakin out'. Woah tha man is serious. Lisbon though i think givin it away a bit that something is wrong when bertram cane to office. But the whole scene with the murdered wife and the peanut in the gun was one hell of a opener. Oh when bertram says 'i am nany things to many people' oh goosebumps. He is deffo top of list. I lived janes moods of fun n pensive then dam scared at end. Was it just me but when lusbon tells grace bout list her reaction bothered me. I have a horrible feeling we are going to get a shock before she leaves. But then lived how jane finds out that all the gang knows. How can u trust any of them to keep a secret. The dessert scenes were so beautiful and secluded. Great place for a gathering of suspects in diner. Also lived before when the victims wife n step sun start arguing. Hilarious. But the big reveal was well played out. And of course the incredible ending with partridge and lisbon. That house was so creepy. But she be back and i hope she learn to listen to what jane tells her in future. Great start to s6 |

I was a little disappointed with this episode. Jane was so arrogant with the policewoman and very careless in letting the murderer get away with the other gun so getting someone killed. Sometimes he talks down to people who are only doing their jobs ( in earlier series as well) and it can be very annoying. It makes him unlikeable at times.
I also agree that Lisbon telling Grace and then rushing off from the diner was very unprofessional. She must have known that Grace would tell Rigsby and he would tell Cho. I also missed all the clues at the end, so I hope to pick them up next week.
Not a good start from my point of view. Sorry for the rant.
This had nothing to do with the acting, which was good as usual. |
