I wasn't surprised by the rating. I thought there was something 'off' about the episode, and I do hope the show bounces back next week. Also, of course, it is preceded by The Good Wife, whose poor ratings don't help our show one little bit. |

I don't think it's so terrible when you consider it in context, it was a poor night for everyone. In terms of viewers TM still won the hour easily and was the 2nd highest scripted show of the night beaten only by Resurrection (10.8m) at the better time of 9pm.
I know the industry uses these ratings, along with others which we don't see so we don't get the full picture, but as we know the overnights don't represent actual viewers, being based on a very small sample size. |

To be honest, I think that CBS has only it's self to blame for these figures....they put it in this dreadful slot, they don't do much in the way of publicity. They tell everyone that all the other shows have been renewed and don't mention this one, and the fiasco over the big Red John episodes where they over ran for so long that they had to defer it until a week later (and that isn't even mentioning the leaked version....) It is bound to make people feel that it would be a waste of their time to invest too much in the show (I don't think so and of course the die hard fans would still watch, but those who waver a bit...)
I am NOT a fan of CBS at the moment.......I am now climbing down off my soap box.... 
I just don't think that they have helped the situation at all. |
