What's in Laroche's tupperware box?

My first thought was something awful - evidence of padeophilia. But I instantly dismissed it, because I really don't think they would go with something so dark on a subplot. My next thought was porn, but I also quickly dismissed that - too boring and predictable.

Then I decided that considering Bruno's brilliant sense of humour, it would probably turn out to be something comical but maybe also a little sad.

So my current theory is that Laroche has a fixation for Lisbon, and the box contains photos and various personal mementoes. Perhaps a lock of Lisbon's hair, a stub of her pencil, a few little items he's pinched from her desk. Rather like a naive young girl from a Jane Austen novel - I'm sure Bruno is a fan. Unless of course Laroche is gay, in which case he's fixated on Cho. teehee

Tee hee, good thread Fran.

I suspect LaRoche has received the spam email that we have all received at one time or another.

eek

shock

I'm saying no more.

Of course it could be cake. He looks like a chap who'd like cake.

cake

I like the idea of cake Jude, but I think everyone would have guessed that he likes cake, so don't think he'd need to hide it biggrin Unless the cake has some interesting ingredients.

As for the spam email items - wouldn't he need to have a lady friend for those? I definitely find it easier to imagine him with cake than with a lady friend.

When I watched the finale again, I found myself looking for evidence of his attachment to Lisbon - I'm sure there were a couple of little glances that had hidden meaning. Or I may just be imagining it fool

Fran i was the same and kept thinking kiddy porn or similar but yes i don't think bruno would bring this in. Then i was thinking about the little figurines he collects and his facination. Could he have photos of himself as these characters wether general or adult themed by himself or with someone. Jane did have a smirk on his face when he saw the collection. Nice thought that he has a fixation on lisbon. He wouldn't want that to get out as god knows what she'd do. He strikes me as afraid of women in general.

Oh Angie the Hummel figurines, I'm loving that idea lol I think they're usually of children, but I can just imagine Laroche dressing up like them and keeping photos.

In fact, I think Laroche as a child would have looked a bit like this one:

I think they don't actually know what was in that tupperware. LOL

I came to the same conclusion, so think we're never gonna know the answer to that one. I would have loved it to be a Lisbon crush though laugh

This thread has been lying low for a long time now, but after the latest spoiler I thought it was worth rejuvenating it in the hope of getting some more speculation biggrin

Gee, I didn't know this thread existed! tongue

What's in Laroche's box has been the subject of some debate at home when we saw the episode.
Now it resurfaces!
Evidences of a sexual nature seem to obvious or simple, as Fran said. Though I could picture Laroche as an hidden homosexual who think his coming-out could ruin his career.
Husband said with a laugh "A cut finger" blink

Or a very very weird and odd collection?…

I always wanted it to be something scandalous - like Lana Turner's underwear or something. LOL

But the duct taped tupperware suggests it is something messier. A formaldehyde preserved gerbil or something?

lol...knowing Simon's penchant for the Hitchcock-style, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be LaRoche's dead mother's ashes! Or how about the last remaining clumps of his own hair!!! Or his appendix that maybe he had removed... Okay, I'm just getting silly now! tongue But I agree that Bruno will probably make it something really amusing!

As he is a fairly large man perhaps it's something quite effeminate! (Photos of himself in a dress perhaps or make-up....on second thoughts....NO). He does collect those Hummel figurines and has a little fluffy white dog! Not that there's anything wrong with owning a little fluffy white dog!!

I'm strangely entertained by the thought of LaRoche as a cross-dresser wacko
