Simon Baker Weighs Becoming a U.S. Citizen

    WALTER SCOTT ASKS...Simon Baker

In your new film, you play a savvy Wall Street type. How are your investing skills?
"I like putting my money into things like food and shelter. I’m probably a bad example of an investor."

Last time you spoke to PARADE, you mentioned wanting to become a U.S. citizen.
"I’m such a procrastinator, I still haven’t done it. A lot of my relatives in Australia think it would be sacrilegious. You can have dual citizenship, but try saying that to the guy down at the pub!"

Which was more traumatic: your 40th birthday or your daughter’s 18th?
"Neither. The biggest thing was her high school graduation. I watched it with tears running down my cheeks."
