What's New in the Director's Cut Version
I've watched the new version (streaming online with a VGA connection to my TV), and the picture quality was noticeably better.
The start of the film has been changed: the voice-over by Henry has been replaced by footage of Eric (Simon) travelling to the funeral. This lasts for about 1 minute and there's no dialogue.
The running time is about the same (approx 1hr 35m), and I couldn't see any other differences - no other new/changed scenes. As previously advised, there are still no Extras or Subtitles on the DVD. So obviously, for people who have the original DVD, its a personal choice about whether or not the cost is worth it for the improved picture quality. |

Just got my copy of Love from Ground Zero-what a surprise, can't wait to play it. I take it that the black doodle on cover is supposed to be Stephen Grynberg's signature. Don't think I'll take up their offer of free poster as it will cost £6 for postage. |

I would have loved to have the poster, but for me it would be 9 Euro. So I won't order it, too much.
Happy when I get my DVD though. I really love this movie. My copy is okay, but HD quality is better. |

Got Mine Too. Think It Was A Bit To Expensive With The Poster But Happy With The Dvd, But I Could Watch Simon Read A Telephone Directory & Still Be Happy. Would Have Liked A Few More Extras On It But Picture Quality Is Far Better Than My Original. |

Haven't received my DVD ...all the others seem to have it.
I hope maybe today .. as a special Christmas gift.
Since I leave to North Germany tomorrow for 2 weeks...would love to have it before I leave. |

Came home from Christmas with my kids to find the DVD awaiting me in my held mail. A great late Christmas gift to myself. Can't wait to watch it tonight, I've never seen it but I'm sure I'll love it. Thanks to this lovely site! I never would have known about this release otherwise. |

You will love the movie Green! It's one of my favorites. I hope I'll find the dvd in my mail too when I get back home in a week. I have it but not in the best quality. So I'm looking forward to watch the dvd. |
