Simon Baker's film #Breath is beautiful & beautifully shot. A great & vulnerable coming of age film. #TIFF2017

Wow! yes another very positive review… It's amazing and very good omen. I hope all these professionals' positive opinions will get Breath international release, and that the public will be enthousiastic as well as the movie critics.

I see awards coming up for this movie ...maybe even an Oscar? I would be so happy for Simon.

And hopefully with this good critics, he will soon start making his next movie. I just hope he will act, too. Because he is also a very good actor and I want to SEE him, too.

Yeah Tina I would like that too. he is a very good actor I have seem most of his films that he has made and his TV series except the ones in Australia. Oh I did see him in Neighbours. I wish him all the luck with the awards he deserves it. I'm so looking forward to see the movie.

A very interesting article that sums up the conversation about 'Breath' with Simon Baker, DP Marden Dean and water cinematographer specialist Rick Rifici, that took place at the TIFF 2017 on September 10: How directors and cinematographers work together.

On Land and Sea: How Aquatic and Grounded DPs Seamlessly Collaborated on Simon Baker's 'Breath'

Established actor Simon Baker relied on collaborations with two experienced shooters for his feature directorial debut.

One director, two DPs, and a beautiful film. Breath is an adaptation of Tim Winton’s award-winning and internationally bestselling novel,
a bildungsroman about two young surfers on the Australian coastline, set in the mid 70’s. It’s not just a great surf movie; it’s a compelling,
visually radiant story with deeply realized characters. Breath premiered to critical acclaim at TIFF 2017 last week.
