Thanks DSP...he's so popular in France but I do feel sorry for him sometimes. After a long flight he probably just wants to get to his hotel but he's always smiling and so polite to people! I imagine he breathed a huge sigh of relief when he eventually got in his cab. Bless him!

It's wonderful to see him again but to me he looks too scruffy - kind of like of back woods mountain man. I like his look a little bit more cleaned up and polished.
I would absolutely hate to have all of that attention every time I went out in public! It was irritating just to watch for a minute and a half .....
Gleaned from other articles (this hit every major trade publication), "Sally Caplan, Head of Production at Screen Australia, says there has been a huge market response to Baker and says they're thrilled to be involved in the making of Breath.
"It is especially gratifying that he is choosing to come back home to make this symbolic Australian story," Caplan said on Wednesday.
Never seems to let anything rattle him and always sweet with people. I love his look right now but wonder whether he might clip his beard a bit when in Cannes. We shall see.
Confirmed UK appearance, tomorrow (Friday) ITV Good Morning Britain 6am to 8.30 'Australian star Simon Baker chats about his directorial debut Breath.'
Link to the video of Canal Plus "Le grand Journal" set, live. (whole broadcast, about 40 mn long, sorry don't know where is Simon, I didn't have the time to watch it yet!
