Longines president Walter Von Känel talks about the next blockbuster for the 180-year-old brand.
“Saint-Imier Collection is the Longines to have this year. It’s a reinforcement of our watchmaking tradition and will rocket to the top. It’s based on a 1945 model and you’ll see it on Simon Baker. He’s doing very well for himself, right? Australia likes our Masters collection. This is a bit more expensive, but I’m sure it will do exceptionally well. It’s really very nice.”

Isn't this an older pic of Simon that they just photoshopped the watch on to? I believe so. Yes, it's here on the forum http://thebakerboy.ucoz.com/photo....-0-4404. Looks like it's dated 2010.

Longines used this older photo of Simon when they announced that he was their next ambasador. They had not set a date to photoshoot in France which they prefer and Simon was not available yet, no matter, he is just as great looking in the new ads. |

I believe Longines only uses a certain French photographer, he might be under contract with them so their ads look very similar from year to year. |
