Wow, he's gonna have a blast and a real chance to relax. There's only one surf resort on the island and it only caters for about eight surfers! Very secluded...exactly what he needs. Just him and his buddies, a wooden building - open-plan dormitory style - and the deep blue ocean. It sounds perfect. Have a good one, mate! Surf's up!  |

Beautiful scenery, a surfers paradise, spending time with his mates and away from the crowds. No-one deserves the peace and tranquility more than Simon. Feel so happy for him.  |

Looks ideal for him and his mates. No wonder he was in such an accommodating and happy mood during all those interviews in Paris and Berlin--he had this well-deserved trip to look forward to. |

I hope he has a lot of fun and can relax after all the stress of the last months. So he takes his surfing vacation right at the beginning of his free time. So I guess the children are still in school and Rebecca travels with them to Australia later.

June. I already have Going Vertical in UK I bought it from Amazon a while ago. Just checked and they still have one new copy priced at £13.25 but also have some others maybe not new. They also have copies of Breath by Tim Winton for £6.29 which I also bought. Hope this is of some help.
Wish I was There on the beach watching the surfing looks a great place.  |

I enjoyed 'Going Vertical'- as someone who never has, and never will be a surfer it gives a great insight into what it must be like, however I didn't think there was a lot of commentary from Simon, lovely as it was to hear his voice. Great smiley, bbb. |
