I really like this interviewer. She was very pleasant and natural, and got nice answers from Simon.

It was fun....but Goddddddd!!!!!! why did she have to lead with the age old question about his accent again!?????? I tried to post a question but the Huff post wouldn't let me log on via Twitter and I don't do Facebook! Grrrrrrrr! Loved the fact that he had his coat on (is it wrong of me to picture marmalade sandwiches when he wears that one?!) It spoke oodles about wanting to be somewhere else other than in NY having to do the required round of interviews, lol. Would love to know what he was looking at at the end when he stood up...it seemed to have him transfixed.

BTW I so want the job of sound technician if it gives you free rein to just grab little boxes from Simon's waistband!!!! tongue

Did miss all this yesterday. I have so much work at the moment. But just downloaded it and will watch it later. Good to know I have at least something to watch. Itunes is late with TM this week. No new episode yet, I was going crazy yesterday. So disappointing. Just now that the showdown starts. Hope I get to see it today.

Agent M I thought exactly the same about the lead in question, infact I may have even groaned a bit...good job I was on my own!! biggrin ..and I thought of you, thinking the same thing.. wacko and Marmalade sandwiches....you made me laugh...yes VERY Paddington Bear!!

I enjoyed the interview, and after (for me) the initial blunder, she did quite well, I love how he always answers the questions with such thought and gravity...even the inane ones.

Thanks DSP !

I found this interview absolutely shocking ! Why ? Atrocious for Simon ! While Simon spoke they interrupted him every time to ask another question without EVER waiting for the answer to the first one. It is very impolite. Simon has really a lot of patience and knows how to keep calm.

In my opinion, the only good thing about the CBS This Morning was that it was quick. And Simon looked great - but that's kind of a given. happy

Yes, they cut almost every answer he made… I wonder how he does to not even seem a little upset, 'cause frankly, it was so gross from these interviewers… I would if I were in his posotion.
He's right when he says he's learnt to be patient. Because he really IS patient, seeing the kind of silly questions he's asked most of the times. Kudos Mr Baker happy

Why thank you kindly BBB!! I don't think it's coincidence that Paddington and Patrick can both be shortened to Paddy!!! tongue I love that style of coat and it just makes me want to cuddle him whenever I see him in it! smile

Marmalade sandwiches and Paddington Bear - yes. smile

I thought the interviewer was one of the best I've seen. Usually they seem so false and just going through the motions.

That cbs interview was awful. What was the point of having him on the show and then cutting across him all the time. I don't think they let him answer one question.

I wish someone could put the Huffpost interview on youtube or something. I got to see it once, but now it won't reload for me. It was a much better (and longer) interview than the cbs one.
