Yes, that was Claude. This episode, technically, was one of our longest as we maxed out every frame. You had 42min and 30seconds
Simon did his own stunts with some help to make it all feel real. He was in the car when it crashed and was really getting kicked!
Simon looks at every little thing and makes it better

Simon always has a stunt guy around, but he doesn't always use him. Simon actually did most of his stunts in this show.
You especially need one if you're acting/directing to stand back and look at the scene. That's the biggest reason!

And he's even darker and more menacing with Robin coming up.
Re the car crash scene - that was all Simon! He's lucky he didn't hurt himself. He hurt his neck a bit, but he's fine now
Reply to ' how long does it take to edit an episode? Do you involve the actors in the process?' - It takes 3 weeks, and it's mainly producers who come in. The only actor is Simon, and that's cause he's a producer now.
We are coming back for next season for sure. Our US numbers are down because of American football. American football is only for 5 more weeks and we're protecting "The Good Wife." We'll be just fine.
We get moved back because of US football and the ratings don't count. We get ratings elsewhere. We're just fine!
Re Simon & Robin - They both are pretty funny! Robin let's out some really funny lines before takes and Simon can get everyone laughing.

A couple of girls I know from twitter were on the VIP tour at Warners yesterday. Jimmy Gadd tried to meet with them (told them to tell their tour guide to go by editing). He was busy trying to edit 511 so he could get home for the holiday but he apparently went down to the lobby to check several times. He left them a lovely note and even the tour guide was stunned that he'd do it. They weren't filming on set on Tuesday so my friends got to visit the set, the guide even let them sit on Jane's couch! So jealous. |

I thought I saw Rebecca and one of the boys. It's hard to tell from just heads! LOL.
Probably no tweets from anyone until Monday as I think production is closed for next couple of days for Thanksgiving, various crew were mentioning jetting off to visit their families for the long weekend. Jimmy apparently sent the pics from the airport while waiting for his flight. |
