Yeah, I heard it...but only because I have a good ear for that kind of thing...It wasn't obvious really and I think Douglas Potter is being way too pedantic! Simon's vocal abilities are excellent for about 98% of the time...occasionally he slips (most noticeably in Red Gold) but he is human after all...and it's not always possible to maintain an accent different to your own 100% of the time - believe me, I've tried. Not matter how long you live somewhere, your native accent will creep in on some words.

Sometimes I try to spot if his aussie accent is slipping, but it sounds to me more as if Jane was from East coast, comparing to Lisbon or Cho accent. |

The only time I have ever noticed Simon's accent slip was in the one in the casino in the first season, when he borrows some moneyu from Lisbon and as he is turning away, says....'Oh Yeah Baby'.....then he sounded a little OZ....but I think he is amazing |

In french we say : "chassez le naturel, il revient au galop !"
It means : " hunt the natural, it returns at a gallop !!!"
And I think the exact english translation is : "The leopard cannot change its spots"  |
