So, after reading all of your ideas I've started to revise my thinking a little...in my original post, both scenarios involved Jane eventually dying. Although they are still feasible and realistic, I'm beginning to think that Jane is a lot stronger emotionally than I gave him credit for. True I think that he is willing to sacrifice himself if it gets Red John, but there's also a positive determination within him. After watching the S4 finale, I saw something in him that was different to before, can't quite put my finger on it yet.
I think there may well be a positive way to end this thing! Yay! (But I don't believe it lies with Jane and Lisbon 'getting it on' lol)
I quite like the 'business as usual' ending that was suggested. Gives us all hope at least that, one day, Bruno might venture onto the big screen with Jane and Lisbon - How cool would that be?  (that said, I can't imagine SB returning to a character once he's put it behind and moved on - still, there's hope 'false hope, but hope nonetheless'  ) |

I think Patrick Jane and the viewers need closure! We deserve our sweet cathartic revenge. Otherwise, this will be like "LOST II"!! 
In the end, Red John must pay for his crimes. And Jane has sacrificed enough. Give him a break! Let him spread his wings and fly to the moon of his choice.  I'd like to see him happy and free of his past. Obviously he craves for a family, and a place to belong. That'd be nice. Maybe with Lisbon...or somebody else.

liionking, I think your ending for TG would have been great. I didn't think Nick and Lulu would ever have sorted things out, not suited at all (and I also didn't like Lulu). |

I really do not know how it will end, I just do not want it to end soon! This is one of the only entertaining shows on T.V. |
