Thanks very much for the translations. I find the Italian one a little bit quirky but also rather charming .
Quote Ivana ( ) I was without PC these days Glad you're OK Ivana, I just realised yesterday that I hadn't seen you here for a while. People sometimes disappear and most of the time it doesn't matter, but I'd have been very disappointed if we'd lost you |

Another French interview via sarapettarini:

It's really lovely interview, especially the parts about his daughter, but my French isn't good enough for a proper translation. Maybe one of our French members might have the time to provide a proper translation?

From sarapettarini's tumblr
From Biba N. 423 - 2015
I can understand almost all, but I’m afraid it’s too long and difficult for me to translate properly, I’m sorry, also because it’s so beautiful. (this is her comment, not mine, I don't understand anything, can someone translate it?)

Thanks for sharing the translation Ruuger. Beautiful sentiments about his wife and daughter from Simon. They are such a close-knit family not spoiled by fame in any way and so supportive of each other. So rare these days!

Awww thanks, this is such a lovely little interview
One translation error I noticed - I think Simons says "I was a sensitive child" not a "sensible" one. |

You're right Fran! A good example of "false friend"… sensible in french means "sensitive" in english, sensible in english means "raisonnable" in french. I can't picture Simon as the epitome of the sensible kid |

Quote DS_Pallas ( ) A good example of "false friend"… sensible in french means "sensitive" in english, sensible in english means "raisonnable" in french. So tempting to assume the meaning is the same - it reminds me of my husband who seemed to think he could just say an English word with a French accent and he would be understood. For example, we were in a French restaurant and he wanted a glass of wine, so he asked for 'un glace de vin'
Quote DS_Pallas ( ) I can't picture Simon as the epitome of the sensible kid Definitely not, especially after stories like throwing himself off his skate board to get his Mum's attention, and precariously hanging on to the roof rack of a moving car |

ha ha! Delightful!!
I know french people who do the same with Italian. As Italian and French languages have the same roots, they assume that pronouncing a french word and adding a "a" or a "o" at the end will make it italian… |
