I went to buy the dvd and the Spanish edition has only the movie. No extras, nothing. I thought buying it from UK but I don't know if that edition has outtakes, interviews, featurettes... And subtitles. Could anyone tell me that, please? Thanks.

I have the bluray from the UK and it has deleted scenes and outtakes. The great scene with the doves is on it. Have to check about the subtitles.

June - I've got 2 UK ones because Sainsburys brought out an exclusive 2 disc version with additional featurettes. So if you're interested I can let you have the standard UK one for just the cost of the postage - it has Deleted Scenes (including the doves), Out-Takes, some other minor Featurettes and Audio commentary. It's got an option for English subtitles, but I don't know about Spanish, would need to check that. Don't think there's any Simon interviews, would need to check that too. The Sainsburys 2 disc version is the one to get if you can find it. But let me know if you want my standard version smile

Fran, is it worth it to get the 2 disc version? How long is the interview with Simon?

Many thanks, Tina and Fran. You're great. I was looking at Amazon UK but there's no information about featurettes or subtitles, except the 2-disc edition, which is expensive and I don't know if it's worth it. The Spanish edition costs 18 € and they don't even respect the format of the movie. Terrible.
Anyway, thank you, and Fran, I'll think about your offering.

It's probably not worth getting the 2 disc version if you already have a good version, it's certainly not worth paying a lot for it.
But I did a google search on I Give It A Year dvd 2 disc and there are some cheap ones around, although I didn't check the postage costs (Used on Amazon UK & also here http://www.awesomebooks.com/dvd....edition but I don't know anything about that site).

The contents of Disc 2 are:
- On-set interviews (Simon, Rafe Spall, Rose Byrne, Anna Faris, Stephen Merchant, Minnie Driver, Jason Flemyng, Dan Mazer, Kris Thykier.
Simon's interview is 4:25, some of which is on youtube as posted in the Video Library.
- Interview with Dan, Rafe & Rose
- Premiere coverage featurertte - 3:15 includes small clips of Simon
- Press Junket featurettes - 2:00 Rafe & Rose, 4:00 Dan, Rafe & Rose
- Trailers

Disc 1 is identical to the standard version and contains:
- Movie - optional English Subtitles, Audio description, Audio commentary with Dan, Rafe & Kris
- Deleted scenes
- Bloopers
- Out-Takes from 'The Doves'
- Featurette - 2:00 includes small clip of Simon
- Meet the Characters featurette - 3:10 includes small clip of Simon

Thanks Bee, I recorded it so I can edit out all the non-Simon bits and have a quick fix of Simon as Guy whenever I'm in the mood happy

Good idea Fran, I have to say Simon is the only reason I watched this film (and bought the DVD)! It's not really my cup of tea but having said that I think Simon played his part brilliantly (as always).

I couldn't understand why he had no recognition for the part. Never mentioned in any reviews. It's almost as if he is blanked.

Yes I quite agree Juney. Another example of his talent being under appreciated.
