I think it's lovely that Rebecca gives Simon so much support in everything he does.

I don't know if this photo from a cinema is genuine, but it looks like it could be surprised https://twitter.com/OneNcisRepublic/status/317634865002606592/photo/1

Found another french interview from a people magazine, not very interesting as expected.
The interviewer keeps noticing that though Simon is extremely polite and urbane, he is not in a very talkative mood (yes we know he can be hardly loquacious in some interviews). And she is surprised by the ("weird", sic) green colour of Simon's socks. OK dry

BUT there's a bit of fun trivia:

" … Simon has always had an elegant sobriety on the screen. In "I Give It a ear", his character is so distinguished that his rival (Rafe Spall) reproaches him for being too handsome and too blond.
A real-life experience, maybe?
— Younger, sometimes some guys would bug me with that.
— How were you reacting?
— At that time, it annoyed me a lot.
— Wich means?
— Well, it means I got into fights
(now this is what we call a forceps delivery!) but it wouldn't happen to me today. I've put some water in my wine. "

So, a bit hot-blooded, Simon huh? Oh, ok, you have "temperament", all right. biggrin

Thanks DS Pallas for those little interviews. It does seem he had a bit of a temperament in his younger days.

I learned tonight (Wednesday) that I won 2 tickets to the premiere in Paris! Too late! I am so disappointed ! cry
I console myself by thinking that I had a great chance to see Simon last year in May.
It is 2 times that I win. In France we say (I translate literally) "never two without three"
So maybe I still have another chance again ! wink

The ending of that instagram picture above doesn't sound like Simon to me.

I'm curious… What make you think that?

I agree on the Sofia Loren portrait though… A wonderful woman and actress.

@DS_Pallas: you asked me "I'm curious… What make you think that?" That last paragraph reads "I just like the realness of a woman going wild. I don't mean in the sack - well, that's okay too!" As English is not my first language, the word "sack" meaning bed, I guess, sounds a bit vulgar to me. Of course I don't know whether in Australia this word, sack, would be used normally, whether Simon would actually use this word. Since I respect SB a lot as a human being, and since he makes an ad for "Gentlemen Only", and he was chosen especially for this because he embodies a gentleman well, I guess I wondered whether a real gentleman would use this word, sack, or whether it's kind of not showing respect to a woman. Hope you can follow my thinking. Maybe this is a completely normal expression that even a gentleman would use and my questioning whether Simon would really choose to say it this way is based on nothing. Enough rambling. Told my husband next Sunday is last TM episode of season 5 hinting he'd better not try to watch something else at that time.

This is just me musing, but it makes me smile to think that SB is on the other side of the world, building a cabin and having some much needed downtime.
