lol... is it just me or does Simon have that 'I'm a fan, could we have a photo taken together?' vibe going on there? Ha ha - so cute. One for the photo album, Simon....oh I forgot, people don't have those anymore!..Dang! I went to sleep and woke up a whole other world! |

Could someone remind me, what was the film? I'm sure it's been posted already but I missed it. |

I found this pic on twitter. I hadn't seen Simon in this style of hat before. It's from a promotional tour of IGIAY. http://instagram.com/p/rzLfHOpVbL/ |

Sorry for the double post! It must have slipped past me when it was added to the gallery. Although can really ever be too many photos of Simon? |

Yes, I remember this photo from April 2013 in Paris, I think a few of us were surprised about the cap, which we haven't seen before or since so perhaps Simon was just trying it on in the shop, maybe he thought it would be a good disguise
The only other time I remember seeing him wearing a cap is for the Tim Hale photoshoot ( http://thebakerboy.ucoz.com/photo/photoshoots/tim_hale/57 ), I think it quite suits him, there are some cute pics, this one is probably the best known, and my favourite: http://thebakerboy.ucoz.com/photo/57-0-1564-3?1408522499 |

In your favorite photo, Fran, he looks like Robert Redford in "The Sting". Much more handsome, of course.

More likely to be because they are comfortable.

I've often thought that he based PJ's appearance, ie three-piece suit , on the character of Johnny Hooker. They are both con-men after all...and I don't think you can beat The Sting for the perfect 'con' movie. |

@sleepylover I think he loves when his feet feels free LOL Because this you can see him often barefoot. I love his new shoes and those fits him good. Love his new fashion statement LOL |

Totally agree with you, AgentM. "The Sting" is one of my favorite movies and as you say, the perfect con movie. Robert Redford's character is similar to Patrick Jane's in some way. I've never heard that this movie was a reference to create "The Mentalist" but it's impossible not to have it in mind watching some episodes of the series. I think in "Cackle-Bladder Blood", with Jane faking his own death, with a devilish grin, enjoying like a kid with false blood stains in his shirt and face and I can't help to think in Paul Newman and Robert Redford. |

I have also been reminded of Robert Redford in some pictures of Simon. There's one in particular that I'll have to find. "The Sting" is one of the first movies that I can remember seeing in a theater as a kid. I quite agree Juney that there is a similar feel to some of the episodes of TM. |
