Does anyone know what sort of biscuits Tim Tams are? Are they chocolate? |

Hey Hayseed, Im Irish but in the UK the mentalist is shown on a smaller network so as smaller ratings and Simon's exposure is not as big as say France where the show is huge it seems. So I'd hope its not a British thing of dismissing the Australians. rather more of they didnt consider Simon as a big of a star to try find out more about him than just the basics. But I think it was just the presenters, they only do the show on a Firday and the two who do it the other 4 days of the week would be much better at intervewing him. But it seems people ask the same questions all the time. I think as we have seen from Ellen and the likes, he can be a great person to interview and fun. But he's always gracious and always answers poiltely and with attention that I'd watch any interview of him. |

Tthanks, sorchauna. (I was in Ireland last summer, BTW - gorgeous country, wonderful people)
Tim Tams are yummy. There are several kinds now, I think, but they're crunchy wafers w/ chocolate covering and they are delicious and addicting. |

Thanks Hayseed, Tim Tams sound like they could be fattening! It's just nice to know another little snippet about Simon even if it's just what biscuits he likes! Sad I know! |

Do they have import stores near you Juney? In the States I can sometimes find Tim Tams at them (Arnott's are much easier to get, plus they have a caramel flavor and I kinda have this thing about caramel. ) I tried a Violet Crumble once which I swear Simon said was his favorite on Caroline Rhea. It was tasty though I still prefer the English bar with the honeycomb in it (which I can't buy any more). |

Hayseed - I'm glad to hear you had a lovely time in Ireland, would hate if you did not! Thanks for the description of them as I had never come across them and I doubt I will. I say Simon would like any biscuit that remains him of home.

Watched the YT interview and enjoyed it. Simon looks kind of serious at the end. Must be hard to travel around so much. In the red carpet interview he mentioned he's working on things to do after TM. We love the show and the character, I hope he's not getting tired of it even though that might be understandable. Anyway... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Tam available in Canada at Superstore, Safeway, Sobeys |

Hi bee, seemingly you can get Tim Tams at some Sainsbury @ Waitrose stores, also at Amazon and Sanza.co. Wonder if their sales will soar. |

Well next time I am down at Sainsbury's I will see if they have any Timtams. Apparently they have what is called the Timtam challenge which is biting off the top corners of the biscuit then drinking a cup of tea through the biscuit. You obviously have to be quick as the hot drink will melt the chocolate. Sounds like a challenge just up my street!! |

I just ordered 3 Tim Tams original and 3 Tim Tams Dark Chocolate. There is a Tim Tam online shop in Germany. It's crazy how expensive they are in Germany, but I always wanted to try, and I think now is just the time I also found out that it's possible to order PJ's tea cup and saucer at the CBS store. Can't wait to drink my tea out of that cup. Jut made me a Lapsang Souchong Tea to start my day. Delivery of the PJ tea cup is at February 11, and then it takes a while til it gets to Germany, but I'm really looking forward to it. |
