I saw that tweet also. It didn't make sense to me though as there are no clues to put it in context. DS_Pallas' comment makes the most sense! |

Re the no loud or abusive language - I think we've seen this before on a prison wall. The Graybar Hotel is 'jail.' |

Quote Hayseed ( ) Matt Gosen responded to his boss' challenge:
Great! He was at the same place than Simon (Bakers' place?) and you can hear Simon say "uuuhm" at the end of the video
BBB, on Karl's pic, is there a corpse in the car?

Yes, he was a fun character...but alas...I fear if he comes back it will involve he and PJ competing for Lisbon's affections and that is definitely something I don't want to see. I know many of you would find it amusing, and if I wasn't so against leads having relationships, I probably would myself...however it could end up being the predictable 'man wanting to prove he is the one she wants' silliness that happens so often.
Walter Mashburn was a fun character when Lisbon was free and single, but now that she's with Patrick, he would perhaps just become a vehicle for a few cheap laughs and a way to depict Jane's childish 'that's mine, hands off' jealous streak and the antics that would go with it. |

I'd liked Mashburn and Jane together on screen! I think the "spoiled brat" and blasé side of Mashburn matched well with Jane's pueril, smartass behaviour. I think the two characters were quite appreciating each other, and there was a touch of male competition that makes a great potential for screenwriting. Even without throwing Lisbon's character in the middle. I don't think Mashburn has real romantic feelings toward Lisbon. He likes her and her spicy charm, obvioulsy, and as a Ladies-man couldn't but try to add her to his trophies tally. And Lisbon had the right to enjoy herself… But I can't picture him as a threat to the Lisbon/Jane relationship. Wel if I was a writer I wouldn't do that anyway. |

I agree with you DS_Pallas, I think the Mashburn/Jane relationship was far more interesting than the Mashburn/Lisbon one. I'd be happy enough to see more of that as pure entertainment, but I don't think any 'closure' is needed.

First Erica Flynn and now, Walter Mashburn. I look forward to seeing what the writers have made with Erica's character and how they have played with the situation Jane-Lisbon-Erica. If it's well written, it could be interesting. However, Mashburn's return would be wrong, in my opinion. He's a funny character but he was on the series just to flirt with Lisbon. And that moment is over. It doesn't make sense for me. |
