The special features are always interesting, I love "The Mentalist: Portrait of a serial killer" from season three but I miss some new gag reel. I have to wait until october or november, dammit!

I think CBS have changed the questions on their 'The Mentalist' trivia quiz: http://www.cbs.com/shows/finales_2012/trivia/?game=112733
Or could just be my memory palace letting me down again wink

I've been watching reruns on TNT here in the states and they show several episodes on Mondays and then a flood now and then and in between the sutest infomercial inviting us to view them by Simon AKA Patrick. Funny and charming, as always.

Fran, sorry for the silly question: can we vote for that? I expect you'll let us know, if we can, and how. Maybe this, indeed, turns out to be Simon's year.

No, its the same sort of thing as the Oscars, so the general public can't vote. I've pretty much given up on Simon getting an Emmy nomination again, but with the recent recognition he's been getting, I have to admit a small flicker of hope has been revived.

I thought it was interesting that there are a lot less submissions this year for TheMentalist compared to last year.

Thanks Fran these are really great interviews and I think Robin looks so beautiful. It's nice to hear that the cast get on so well together and I believe this has contributed to the show's success. Also glad they didn't go down the 'power struggle' way between Jane and Lisbon. I agree they sometimes have a mother/son relationship where Lisbon has to deal with Jane's childish ways but absolutely loved it when she called him her 'TV husband'!!! love

An article about Derren Brown, who was mentioned at Paleyfest (either by Bruno or Chris I think). So I thought this paragraph was mildly interesting.
Excerpt:
So far, he hasn’t performed any of his stage shows outside the UK, though plans to go to New York are under discussion. The US looks inviting, not least because the hit TV series The Mentalist, starring Simon Baker as a former psychic who uses his skills as a police consultant, was inspired by Brown’s work. “They got in touch because apparently it was based on me,” he says. “It seems the writer is a fan and they wanted me to do an extra for the DVD release. I wasn’t sure what their expectations were, but anyway I had no time to do it.”

Speaking of which, I've been googling the extra content for the different DVD regions (specifically for Region 4) and only found S1 (which has the same extras)
Can anyone tell me if there is much difference in the extra content between Region 1 and Region 4 of seasons 2 & 3? Please? smile
