#22 for him (not including Martin Scorses' production, 'Key To Reserva' wine advertisement). Looks Good!! It will be
another one to add to my collection of his works.....have 'em all! 'Something New' (my favorite), 'Book Of Love' (#2),
'Love from Ground Zero' (#3), 'Affair Of The Necklace' (#4), 'Not Forgotten' (#5) and so on. He can, most certainly,
do it all - drama & comedy. But kind'a think he'll opt for directing more so than acting in his future.....our lose, for sure.
And isn't he GORGOUS in the new Longines ad???? tongue Thanks again to Fran for all of her time and hard work keeping
us so close to this great guy.

Excerpt from article about London comedy film festival:
The Pink Panther, Monty Python, women in comedy and the world premiere of I Give It A Year - with the audience dressed in wedding outfits - are some of the highlights of LOCO London 2013 - the UK’s only comedy feature film festival. The event will run this year from 24-27 January at BFI Southbank, Hackney Picturehouse, The Lexi Cinema and other venues to be confirmed.
.........................
The festival will also host the world premiere of I Give It A Year, a romantic comedy written and directed by Borat co-writer Dan Mazer, who will be interviewed on stage after the screening. ......... The entire audience has been asked to dress in their best wedding outfits for a reception at BFI Southbank.

Actually have just watched it on the home page. Weird or what. It seems as if it might be a success, let's hope so.

Great news, Fran. Also, the trailer has been viewed over 100,000 times on youtube, which I think is a good sign. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the picture for the trailer is Rose Byrne in a bra.

I agree with you Juney. It wasn't my thing (I didn't find it at all funny). But I see similarities between that and some massive hits (which I also didn't find funny, so I apparently have a different sense of humor than other people!) so I hope for Simon's sake it's huge.

Apart from not being funny I thought it sounded a bit stilted. Maybe because of short 'sound bites' necessary in a trailer. As you say my hopes are for a hit (even if not with me), he deserves recognition.
