Thanks Fran, lovely message. Deedee, I think the part you can't make out says Harry B.

Ah yes, thanks Wand612, I can see that now!! Should have spent more time looking at it myself. Have just googled the hotel, as you do, and it looks a beautiful place, just the right spot for some much deserved proper relaxation for Simon and his family.

Also just googled it and yes it's a beautiful hotel in breathtaking surroundings. It says "dedicated to the enjoyment of nature....a special place to rest, relax and enjoy the silence". Just right for Simon before his return to work!

Does Becca ever refer to herself as Mrs Baker I wonder?

Yes Juney I wondered that. Seems strange that she signed such a personal note with her maiden name especially as they were there together as a family. confused

I think that many people in show business use their maiden names after they marry. It's a bit like their "brand name". My Aunt is a writer and producer in LA and though she's been married many years, she still uses her maiden name. Her husband was also in the business and their children have his last name.

Just noticed that "The Lodger" starring Simon is on TV tonight in UK at 9 pm. It's on the Movie Mix Channel....Freeview 32.

A good remake. Simon's character is disturbing… And an occasion to see him with dark hair! (and bare chest) tongue

The Lodger is one of Simon's movies that is really good. I prefer him with blond hair but the dark hair is sure interesting. If I wasn't so much into TM...wanted to watch a few movies again over summer but I always end up watching TM.

This is one movie that I was a bit ambivalent about when I first heard of it. I've seen it a few times along with the added bits and it is a bit disturbing but well acted, something n the vein of "Not Forgotten" which was not one of my favorites. It does show however that Simon is capable of going out of his comfort zone.

Thanks @MentalistGerman

"Today I helped Simon Baker (The Mentalist) make 3 teenagers from France on vacation here the happiest kids.Apparently they found out where our location was and stood and waited for Mr.Baker to take a break. He never came out until I went to the P.A. and told him about it.5 minutes later He came out, greeted all of them, took pics with them and greeted their parents.I should ask for a job as his publicist...!"

An actress about Simon on the set
"What a wonderful day this was! Had a great time on the set of "The Mentalist" with my nephew Abel and all his co-workers. And after our scene ended, Simon, THE Mentalist himself gave me a big hug!! Life is good!"

Awww! In his Walk of Fame speech I think I remember Simon calling someone a serial hugger - I think he's become one himself happy
