Totally agree, Tina. I feel cheated when I see all those "interviews?", it's a kind of fraud. |

Thanks 258pce, nice little interview, I like that Franck Ragaine asks different questions to the norm so prompts a different type of response from Simon. It's probably worth posting on the Home Page but I can't do it at the moment. |

thanks to bbb, it is now posted on latest news. If you watch until the end there is a link to another snippet from the same interview where he talks about Senator John McCain being a fan and who will miss PJ more: Simon or his fans, and about the French film industry.

Juney - I agree with you; actors do live on the edge. There is no such thing as security - they live by their wits and a final public. As far as I know, they only have "contracts", no jobs unless one is hired by "contract" through one of the studios or networks. No health insurance, no social security - nada - that I am aware of. I am reading James Garner's memoirs (lord I loved that actor) and it is interesting the garbage the studios pulls on people.
I also have to remind myself that not only the actors, such as Robin and Simon, wait for months for decisions like the kind they just went through but also the writers, gaffers, video people, makeup, etc, that also have jobs (and income) caught up in the unneeded drama. I remember when I saw the text that the ™ writers had all been released to go look for other jobs. Like Simon says (no pun) each series aired means a minimum of 150 families' income. i hate the reality shows - the much cheaper shows to produce; I wish they would go away but they won't = too many viewers watch that garbage. |

I'm in agreement with you Kabuky- reality shows can fall off the edge of the earth and we would not be any poorer for their absence. |

I so agree! Reality shows are becoming more and more famous in Germany and I ask myself how deep we have fallen if we like this "crap". Really? People prefer THIS to a good tv show like TM? It gets better ratings than all the quality tv shows ...really sad. I've never watched reality shows and I guess I never will. Than I'd rather watch an episode of TM for the 100th time.
I don't want to upset anybody who loves reality. It's just my opinion.

Totaly agree with you @tinamarianne. German TV have too much crap. The people wants only relaxing and nothing thinking while watching a show. I have nevr seen also a reality show and will never do it. TM is really unique something for the heart, for the eyes and for the brain |

Channel 5 have in the past shown reality shows in the hiatus of TM. I presume there wont be one this time so heaven knows when we in the UK will get to see series 7 (if ever). |
