I think that, although the boys have darker hair, they have Simon's colour of eyes - at least one of them definitely (as far as I can make from pictures).

To Sweetevy: Yes, in that picture Stella is like a baby angel with blond curls, so similar to her father who represents a similar but male and older version.
My comment was for the look of the boys and mostly in response to the comment of Justlook3. Their eyes are light coloured (I think green) and more like their father's eyes, which are so enticing.

Pip, Simon mentioned the relationship thing in the TF1 interview, which Thrill has posted, translated, on the main page. I think he said something to the effect that in hindsight, they would have probably separated if they had stayed in Australia. It was very difficult trying to make a living as actors and supporting a child.

18th July 2012 - French Article in LeFigaro - Simon Baker : « Ma passion pour la France »
(This is the same article I posted as a magscan in the Photo Gallery a few days ago)

http://tvmag.lefigaro.fr/program....e-.html

Rough Translation:
Simon Baker: "My passion for France"
Before his return on TF1, the hero of the series is vacationing in l'Hexagone

If you come across, in south-eastern France, a bearded man with a light step, with sunglasses and a cap, accompanied by his wife and children, it is perhaps Simon Baker! The Mentalist hero, is incognito, on vacation in France. TV Magazine was in on the secret.

Since spring, Simon Baker was in London filming the romantic comedy I Give it a Year, finishing his scenes in late May. Then, instead of going surfing in Australia, he preferred to visit the l'Hexagone with his family: his two sons - Claude, 13, and Harry, 10 years - his daughter - Stella, 18 - and wife, Rebecca. They are currently touring our country around the Rhone-Alpes region. The actor took the opportunity to refine his knowledge of jambon-beurre (ham & butter baguette), our weakness. "I love Europe, and France is one of its jewels, he says. Obviously, walking in your country has become a bit complicated for me, but ... this is the game, and that means many people watch The Mentalist , which really touches me. So I have to disguise myself. I'm considering letting the beard grow ... I will say no more! "(Laughter.)

He was indeed unshaven at the 163rd Longines Prix de Diane at Chantilly on June 17. Guest of honor, the holiday was devoted to him being 'Ambassador of Elegance "for the Swiss watch brand Longines. Delighted, he arrived in a Jaguar, according to his wishes, and played along for autographs and photos with the most beautiful hat in the hippodrome. He even mentioned a film project that would shoot in Paris during summer 2013. When The Mentalist beat audience records on TF1 with 10 million viewers, Simon Baker was intrigued and flattered by the interest in which it was held. He said the French have a certain taste! Our hint of arrogance amuses him madly and reminds him of his character. "You share the same bluntness as Patrick Jane. And no doubt you understand better his eccentricity. "He also wanted his hero to drive a Citroen DS:" I've always been a great admirer of that French brand. "

The actor fell in love with the l'Hexagone, and really dreams of having a French passport, but not enough to settle in our country. Simon Baker already makes a number of round trips between Los Angeles, where he films his series, and Australia, his homeland, when he has a long break. Jet lag, he knows well. He must also leave for the U.S. before the end of the month to begin filming Season 5 of The Mentalist , in the legendary studios of Warner Brothers. French fans will have to wait until the end of August to see the season 4, unpublished, on TF1.

I am so glad Simon and the family managed to enjoy some holiday in France. Since Becca speaks French - I wonder whether she has any French heritage?

The confusion over Simon's whereabouts continues wacko I've always thought he was back home in Australia, so I'm inclined to believe this sighting.

22nd July
@JacintaStyles1D (Far North Coast Australia)

"I walked past Simon Baker last Friday"
Reply to 'Lucky you :-) Whereabouts was that? Was his family with him? ' - "it was in Byron Bay and yes they were smile "

Wow, I'm surprised he's still in Australia. Don't they start filming in a few days? Though I guess he handles his jet lag well, he seems to have no trouble arriving somewhere the day before he has to start filming. smile
