Thanks DS Pallas!!! It must be a good film! Well done!!! Wonderful news!
Maybe, now that it has won an award, it will come to Greece as well!

I wonder if Simon will be able to attend the premier in London after all. Heathrow doesn't seem to be functioning very well. He may not want to chance being stuck. I don't know what the weather forecast is for the rest of the week, but the time frame must be a bit tight.

Thanks for the info on Rose Byrne Fran....It would be nice if Simon was able to do just one TV interview for us, especially as he's travelling all this way but I suppose he is on a tight schedule. We'll have to wait and see......

On the IGIAY facebook it says Simon, Rafe Spall and Dan Mazer will be at the Apple Store in Regent St. between 7 and 7.45pm on Friday to answer questions. Hope there is someone on the site who lives near enough to get there.

I'd love to see Simon on Jonathan Ross or even Graham Norton. I think if he could do an interview which aired much later and not as watershed we'd see the very cheeky Aussie side to him.

I know what you mean Juney! Such things can save my days too and make me feel so good.
Just had a woman with such a cute little boy with blond curls in my shop, reminded me so on Simon. I had to run my hand through this curls smile

Rose Byrne terrified filming I Give It A Year
(As you can see, this contains some inaccurate information!!)

http://www.list.co.uk/article....-a-year

Rose Byrne hid under the table to get away from unruly live doves while filming Dan Mazer's new anti-romantic comedy 'I Give It A Year'.

Rose Byrne was petrified by the doves on the 'I Give It A Year' set.

The 'Bridesmaids' actress turned into a nervous wreck while shooting the scene in Dan Mazer's new comedy where Simon Baker - who plays smooth American businessman Guy - tries to seduce her married alter ego Nat with the help of a violin player and two unruly white doves.

Speaking at the London premiere of 'Give It A Year' in Leicester Square, Simon exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "She was freaked out by the doves, I mean genuinely freaked out - under the table every take.

"It was impossible to shoot because she was just panicking, sitting there shaking the whole time. She didn't conquer her fear, they just cut it into the movie!"

Apart from the drama caused by Rose's fear of birds flapping around her head, Simon loved teaming up with his fellow Australian actress and found it hilarious to try and create an intimate romantic chemistry between them because they have been friends for so long.

He said: "We've known each other for a long time so it was kind of funny actually so when we go to the set it was like - OK Rosie, were going to do the scene now where were looking at each other lovingly. It was a bit wacky but it was fun, she's a pro."

The charming actor is currently filming the sixth series of hit TV show 'The Mentalist' and although he loves playing psychic crime-solver Patrick Jane, he admitted his newfound love of the big screen is looking increasingly "attractive" as a career prospect.

Simon quipped: "After five years of the show... I worked all day yesterday, got on a plane last night and came straight here so the luxury of working on a film is very attractive to me right at this moment because I'm going to have to go straight back. But I love both, I'm happy to be working."
