I've found this small video (33'') with some funny Simon's moments on film. He's cute.

For spanish members, film release on May 24. So we'll have to wait a little bit more to see Simon on the big screen.

So we still don't know when the LA Premiere will be. What's wring with this picture? This is after all where the cinema has its heart and soul. I think Simon will be home in Australia working on his film so he could be thoroughly involved there and the family home there with him. He does need some rest however after being on the go all year on several continents.

Surely it will be released in the US soon! I'm getting impatient.

I was wondering if IGIAY would come to germany at all - today I finally saw the ads on TV!
It will premiere on April18th here - hubby saw the ads with me and (not knowing...) laughed out loud
watching the "dove-scene"! Critiques are so and so - I hope I will like it and it will be a success!

'I Give It a Year' gets U.S. distribution deal

http://insidemovies.ew.com/2013/04/01/i-give-it-a-year-magnolia/
Excerpt:
American audiences hungry for more British comedy and more of Bridesmaids actress Rose Byrne, are in for a treat: I Give It a Year, which stars Byrne and Rafe Spall (One Day), has secured a U.S. distributor. Magnolia Pictures will release the film in the U.S. later this year. U.S. release date is yet to be set.

Also confirmed here: http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=102249
Excerpts:
The Wagner/Cuban Company's Magnolia Pictures announced today that they've acquired US rights to I Give It a Year. Magnolia plans for a theatrical and VOD release in their Ultra VOD program later this year.

"Dan Mazer is a terrific writer who has managed to both skewer and celebrate the romantic comedy genre and also deliver a gut-bustingly funny picture" said Magnolia President Eamonn Bowles.

"Solid bidding followed a great response at SXSW and at the end we went for the strongest theatrical commitment and for the largest piece of the pie. We have full confidence in Magnolia's first class team and their aggressive distribution model which lends itself perfectly to our film, a model they pioneered and have been so successful with" said Harold Van Lier, StudioCanal EVP International Distribution.

It's good when he has the same dubbing as in TM and TG. I love most to hear him with his own voice but the one he has in the two shows ix pretty good.

Again Simon isn't mentioned. Strange, as he must be better known in USA than Rafe Spall.

Juney - Simon is mentioned in the full article, but I just copy and pasted the 'news' bit. (I think Rose Byrne is well known in the US)

Ah that explains it, sorry Fran. He does seem to get overlooked a lot though, don't you think.

Yes he sometimes does, although I think that happens to other actors too but we notice it more with Simon. For example in this film I think it's Anna Faris who has been overlooked a lot, although that may be because she's done very little to help promote it.
